The Blue Ridge Elementary Staff was selected as the Raytown Walmart's Teacher Rewards Program winners for the year.  The staff received the award in a surprise assembly on September 17.

 Walmart managers delivered gift cards to the school, based on the idea that teachers often spend their own money on school supplies. Each grade level, special teachers, the cafeteria, Special Education, and Custodians all received the gift cards, courtesy of Walmar
