Well-Rounded Instruction
Raytown students receive a broad education. They are given a solid grounding in the basics, while simultaneously being exposed to new standards and innovative concepts. Our employees hold the same expectations for themselves.

Recognizing that students possess individual necessities, Raytown Quality Schools offer specialized programs designed to serve their needs. Complete special education services are available to students requiring these programs, with many mainstreamed into regular classes. Raytown Alternative School ensures students struggling with the rigors of conventional classroom situations are given the chance to succeed. The Herndon Career Center prepares students for immediate employment after graduation.

After-school activities range from competitive athletic programs for both girls and boys to a host of clubs that serve students whose interests range from drill team to foreign language study. Students are encouraged to explore, sample and participate in as many as they find stimulating.

Educators encourage students to challenge themselves by selecting classes that will stretch their horizons and to seek new opportunities by applying for scholarships. Students who excel in athletics but find themselves struggling in the classroom are tutored to maintain academic excellence.
