Pre-Paying For Meal Accounts

Food service introduces online pre-payment feature
Parents and caretakers will now have two more ways to manage their child's lunch account. The Raytown Quality Schools Food Service Department recently introduced a new program that allows prepayments to be made via the telephone or the district Web site.

The Food Service Department is very excited to offer parents and other guardians the “ Meal Pay System”.

We know parents worry when sending money with their child to school so we are giving them another way to pay for their child's lunch via the internet.

Raytown is using a service that is provided by mealpay.com. Information was sent home to parents but if you did not receive one, please feel free to call your student's school and ask them to send one home with your child.

The system is designed to be very user friendly and any changes to the accounts take place usually within one hour.

The Meal Pay System is a plus for busy parents because if a parent forgets to update their child's account, they can make a payment and it usually gets there before the student goes to lunch. They may also set up reminders that will warn the parents via email when the students account drops below a certain amount.

Parents and caretakers can access the system by visiting www.mealpay.com or by calling 1-866-720-1328.

For more information, contact the Food Service Department at 816-268-7076.
