History Established in 1992, the Raytown Educational Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing grants, scholarships, programs and recognition to students and staff in Raytown Quality Schools. The foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees comprised of patrons, educators, parents, business and community leaders. The Board of Trustees volunteer their time, talents and resources to serve Raytown Quality Schools.

Vision Raytown Quality Schools’ students will have opportunities and experiences that prepare them to be contributing members of the community.
To prepare for the return of secondary students who are enrolled in in-person learning, Thursday, February 25 and Friday, February 26 will be asynchronous virtual learning days for students in grades 6-12. Please note: Students who have been attending Herndon Career Center will continue with their normal schedule for the remainder of the week.
Students from Raytown South High School and Raytown High School earned top honors in the annual Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) District virtual competition and have qualified for the state competition.
The Raytown School District is recognized as one of the Healthiest Employers in Kansas City by the Kansas City Business Journal. For the fourth year in a row, the District was selected as one of five honorees in the 500-1499 employee category.
