Thank you to Raytown NEA for their generous donation to REF. NEA members presented checks to REF, REAP, and Raytown Summer Lunch Ministry using unspent travel funds due to COVID19. The check was delivered by Marie Tracy, RNEA President, at a safe distance, at Cuento's Coffee in Raytown. Thanks a "latte" RNEA!
The Raytown Educational Foundation joins the school district's statement regarding current events in our nation. We have been deeply impacted by the recent tragic murders and the call to action ignited by the loss of those individuals and all of the precious lives of the marginalized citizens in our communities. REF stands with the school district's actions to continue to make our voices heard in addressing policies and practices that perpetuate racism. To view the school district's statement, visit Raytown Quality Schools.
