  • The enrollment portal opens Wednesday, July 15th. Enrollment applications and supporting residency documents must be submitted by August 3rd to allow applications to be processed, school schedules to be created, and transportation routes to be assigned.
  • Please have the following documents ready to ensure a speedy enrollment process:
    • Your government issued ID/Passport. 
    • Proof of residency (full lease/mortgage). 
    • Current utility bill - electric, gas, or water/sewer bills from the past 30 days are accepted (no shut off/no final notices will be accepted). 
    • Immunization records (there are required immunizations for students entering kindergarten, 8th, and 12th grades). 
  • Students enrolled after August 3rd will not be guaranteed district transportation and may experience a delay in receiving their assigned bus route.
  • Enrollment applications can be completed in your Focus Parent Portal online or in the RQS Focus app on your phone. For questions, please contact the Enrollment Center at 816-268-7035 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday in July and Monday- Friday in August.

Enrollment applications and all documents need to be submitted for each of your children every year. Once you have submitted your online application, it goes into an enrollment queue. You will receive a confirmation email when the application has been processed. If your enrollment application is incomplete, or documentation is missing, you will receive email communication to notify you of what's missing.

Important Vaccine Information

  • All new students must submit a full immunization record. Additionally, there are required immunizations for returning students entering kindergarten, 8th grade, and 12 grade.
  • Pre-K and kindergarten students will need a full immunization record. You can view required immunization for Pre-K students using the link below. 
  • Additional immunization requirements for kindergarten through 12th grade can be found using the link below.
  • All incoming 8th graders will need a Tdap and MCV shot before they can start school in August.
  • All incoming 12th graders will need two MCV shots unless the first shot was given after the age of 16. In that case, they will only need one shot before they can start school in August.
  • Please do not wait until August to get these required vaccinations. Please be aware that if your child does not have their vaccination or exemption card by the first day of school on August 24th, they will not be able to start until they provide proof of the vaccination/exemption.
  • Please turn in proof of vaccinations to the nurse's office as soon as you receive them.

  • Please note: InfoFinder is used as a tool to locate transportation routes for residents who live within the district's attendance boundaries. Residents who live close to a school's boundary line or who live outside of the district's attendance area may receive inaccurate results when using the system.

Nutrition Services Information

  • Breakfast will return to paid status for the 2026-2027 school year.
  • Breakfast, lunch, and a la carte items may be purchased through student meal accounts.
  • Free or reduced priced meals are available for students who qualify based on household income, direct certification, or extended eligibility.
  • Apply for free and reduced priced meal benefits each year. A new application is required annually, even if your family has qualified in previous years.
  • Manage your student's meal account online to add funds, check balances, and view purchase history.
  • Students with food allergies or special dietary needs should submit the required physician signed documentation to their school nurse before the start of the school year.

Back to School Resource & Information Event 2026

Get ready for the new school year at the Back to School Resource & Information Event on Saturday, August 22nd from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at Raytown High School!

This free, family-friendly event will feature valuable community resources to help students and families start the school year strong. Connect with local organizations offering support in areas such as student health and wellness, food and basic needs, youth programs, family services, and more. We look forward to seeing you there!

2026-27 Academic Calendar

The Raytown C-2 School District Board of Education approved the 2026-2027 calendar on February 9th, 2026 and also reserves the right to adjust the calendar due to any unforeseen circumstances.

2026-27 Supply Lists

Early Childhood & Elementary Schools

*These are basic lists to get students started for the year. Certain classroom activities may require additional supplies throughout the year. Many schools may also be holding school supply sales, and if so, they will be sending you information on dates and time.

Student Schedules

Elementary

  • Elementary schools will host Meet the Teacher on August 20th from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Middle School

  • Middle school schedule pick-up will take place at the orientation night on August 18th (Raytown Middle School) or August 19th (Raytown South Middle School & Raytown Central Middle School) from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.

High School 

  • High school students and families will be able to access schedules on FOCUS in August. Instructions on how to access schedules will be provided by the schools. Please contact your child's school for more information.
