About Raytown Community Education
The commitment of RQS Community Education is to offer a wide variety of educational, recreational, and personal growth experiences for our community. Community education classes give patrons great choices that are all offered at a minimal cost. We add new classes every fall and spring.
GENERAL ENROLLMENT INFORMATION
Who May Enroll
Any adult 18 years or older may enroll. Individuals under 18 are not allowed to attend classes or be in the building unless enrolled in a Children/Youth course and accompanied by an adult.
How to enroll - Three easy ways
- Mail the enrollment form and payment to the address below and make checks payable to Raytown Community Education.
- Please use black or blue ink only when writing checks.
- In person at the Community Education office:

- Sign up online and pay using a debit or credit card through RevTrack. First call 816.268.7041 to ensure the class is available, then sign up by visiting this link.
- An account will need to be created using an active email address. You can then click on the Community Education icon to enroll in your classes. There will be a fee of 3.6% of the amount paid for the class.

ENROLL EARLY TO AVOID CLASS CANCELLATION!
Each class has a minimum enrollment and is subject to cancellation if this minimum is not met. Enroll early and encourage others to enroll.
NOTIFICATION
You will only be notified if your class is canceled due to low enrollment. Otherwise, you are responsible for remembering to attend class.
CANCELLATIONS...NO CLASSES ARE HELD when Raytown C-2 School District classes are canceled or released early due to inclement weather. Please watch local news or visit the District's website, Facebook page, or Twitter feed for Raytown C-2 cancellations; you will not be contacted personally if the District is closed.
NO COMMUNITY EDUCATION CLASSES ARE HELD ON THE FOLLOWING DATES (some exclusions apply including, but not limited to, classes held at the Raytown Schools Education and Conference Center or the Raytown Schools Wellness Center):
- Spring Break, March 24-28, 2025
REFUND POLICY
Refunds will not be granted after a class has started, whether you have attended the class or not. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you are unable to attend a class, you may send a friend or colleague in your place. Call 816-268-7041 for student substitutions. If a class is cancelled, a full refund will be given. Refunds require up to four weeks to process.

Community Education invites you to apply to teach a class. We are on the lookout for new instructors willing to share their expertise with the community. Many general interest and enrichment classes are taught by adults with special interests and hobbies. To propose a class, download a Class Proposal Form at www.raytownschools.org or contact Raytown Community Education at 816-268-7041 and request a form. Return the completed Class Proposal Form to Raytown Community Education.
