Meet the Class of 2025

Dr. Kimberly Johnson-Hatchett, – 1994 Graduate of Raytown South High School

Dr. Kimberly Johnson-Hatchett, a 1994 graduate of Raytown South High School, is recognized for her work as a board-certified physician specializing in neurology and clinical neurophysiology. She currently serves as Chief of Staff (Chief Medical Officer) at the Kansas City VA Hospital and remains active in the medical community, frequently speaking on topics such as health disparities, overall wellness, and minority health issues. Dr. Johnson-Hatchett is also a published author of the book Retrospective Calling: Looking Back to Create Your Path Forward, which explores personal growth and purpose. In addition to her professional accomplishments, she is actively involved with several local civic organizations, including Jack and Jill of America, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., the Greater Kansas City Mo chapter of The Links, Inc. and the local Kansas City Chapter of the National Medical Association. She is married to her husband Andre, and has two daughters.

Lawrence (Larry) Mock – 1947 Graduate of Raytown High School

Lawrence (Larry) Mock, a 1947 graduate of Raytown High School, is known for his remarkable 65-year career as a developer and builder in Raytown and surrounding areas. In partnership with others, he helped develop 25 subdivisions, totaling more than 2,200 homesites, and personally built over 800 homes. His work earned him numerous awards from the Home Builders Association of Greater Kansas City, where he was a member for 50 years. Throughout his career, Larry prioritized civic engagement and was an active member of the Raytown Jaycees, Optimist Club, Rotary Club, Sertoma Club, and Ararat Shriners. He is also a lifetime member of the Raytown Historical Society.

 

 

Timothy Monsees – 1973 Graduate of Raytown High School

Timothy Monsees, a 1973 graduate of Raytown High School, is well-known for his distinguished career as an attorney and trial lawyer. He has produced over forty publications and presentations throughout his storied career and has received numerous awards and honors including a designation as 2022 Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association Honoree as “Dean of the Trial Bar.” Timothy is also involved in community outreach personally and through his firm, where they support the Missouri Organization to Counter Sexual Assault (MOCSA).

 

 

 

R. James (Jim) Stilley, Jr. - 1966 Graduate of Raytown High School

R. James (Jim) Stilley, Jr., a 1966 graduate of Raytown High School, is well-known in the community for running a successful estate planning law practice in Raytown for nearly 40 years. He is also recognized as a volunteer extraordinaire, having dedicated his time and talents to numerous local organizations, including the Truman Heartland Community Foundation and the Jackson County Historical Society. Jim and his wife, Mary, are actively involved in philanthropic efforts and were honored as the 2021 Heartland Humanitarians of the Year by the Truman Heartland Community Foundation.
