Swim Program Frequently Asked Questions

Who is eligible to take lessons?

Kids and teens ages 4-17 who live within and outside of the Raytown School District boundaries are eligible to attend.

Who provides the lessons? 

Instructors are trained and provided by Aquatic Academy. For questions, please call 816.281.7177 or email admin@aquatic-academy.com .

When are sessions offered? 

Summer sessions for 2024 are offered June through the beginning of August.  Lessons will range from week morning, weeknights, and Saturdays.  For more information on session dates and times, click here.

What is the cost of each session?

The cost is $40 for students who attend or will attend the Raytown C-2 School District, and $60 for out-of-district students.

Where will swim sessions be held?

All sessions will be held at the Raytown Schools Wellness Center, located at 10301 E 350 Hwy., Raytown, MO 64138.

How do I register my student and pay for a session or a session?

Registration and payment can be completed through RevTrak. For more information on how to access and complete registration and payment through RevTrak, please view the informational flyer.

What type of payment is accepted?

Credit and debit card payments will be accepted. For more information on how to access and complete payment through RevTrak, please view the informational flyer.

How do I know what swim level is appropriate for my student and what skills will my student be working on in each swim skill level?

You can view the list of skills by swim level, here. This list of skills may also be helpful for you to determine which level would best fit your students' skill set and ability when registering your student for a session. I am interested in becoming a swim instructor or lifeguard, how do I apply?

Swim instructors and lifeguards are hired by The Aquatic Academy for the program. If you are interested in a position as a swim instructor or lifeguard, you can apply through the Aquatic Academy at www.aquatic-academy.com/employment. High school students are also eligible to apply for these positions.
