Caring for Kids Partnership

 

The Raytown School District began a partnership with Caring for Kids in 2014 with all ten elementary schools participating.  

Caring for Kids is a nonprofit organization that functions as a neutral convener to facilitate the development of church and business partnerships with schools. 

Their mission statement reads: “Connect every school in partnership with at least one church and business to help schools be successful in their goals to prepare children for life.” 

Caring for Kids has helped Raytown Schools connect to volunteers and resources for needs identified through a five step process: preparation, roundtable connection event, action plan, implementation, and sustainability.
