Communications and Community Relations

The Communications and Community Relations Department is responsible for district public and media relations, internal and external communications (ie: informational pieces for district elections), which includes the district website and social media. The volunteer program, which includes RayFriends and the Caring for Kids Partnership, is also managed by this department. Other programs administered by the department are:

• Annual District Convocation 
• Brian D. Blankenship Heart of the Matter Award
• Alumni Hall of Fame
• Annual District United Way Drive
• Teacher of the Year Recognition
• Support Staff Employee of the Year Recognition
• High School Attend to Win Ceremonies
• District sponsored retirement celebration
• Raytown Chamber of Commerce liaison
