Waiver

 

In addition to submitting an online enrollment application, families enrolled on a Residency Waiver must also submit the following:

Required Documents for Waiver Families:

• Government-issued photo ID/passport
• Completed Waiver Form 
• Placement paperwork: Court-stamped documentation showing the student has been placed in the care and custody of the waiver family. The document must include a court docket number and date to be considered valid. Power of Attorney is not accepted.

Acceptable placement documentation includes:

• Children’s Division/DMH or court documentation
• Court placement or group home documentation
• Obituary or death certificate
• Military deployment documentation
• Valid incarceration documentation

How to Submit Documents:

• Complete your student's online enrollment application in your FOCUS Parent Portal
• Upload documents through the FOCUS Parent Portal
• Come in-person, office hours are 8:30am - 4:00pm - Monday - Friday
• Email documents to: residency@raytownschools.org
• Fax documents to: 816-268-7079
• Drop off documents in the secure drop box located outside the RSECC Building/Enrollment Center
