Raytown Community Education Fall 2020
The commitment of RQS Community Education is to offer a wide variety of educational, recreational, and personal growth experiences for our community. Community education classes give patrons great choices that are all offered at a minimal cost. We add new classes every fall and spring. The District misses all of our devoted instructors and participants who help make community education and unique and wonderful experience. For Fall 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and as we navigate reopening our buildings and keeping everyone safe, we will not be able to host Raytown Community Education classes. This change comes as COVID-19 cases continue to rise and at the guidance of local health authorities.
As we reopen our buildings, the District will continue to evaluate all aspects of our reopening plan. We will continue to modify our reopening plan based on guidelines provided by local health officials as well as feedback from our staff, families, and patrons.
It is with a heavy heart that we temporarily shut down this program, as it is a rich and valuable tradition. We hope to be able to open our doors for classes in the spring. We hope that you will stay connected to the Raytown School District through the District website, Facebook and Twitter and by signing up for the Patron Update newsletter, which includes updates, information and news about the Raytown School District. You can sign up for the Patron Update Newsletter at https://mo02210312.
Thank you for your patience and support as we work together to build an even stronger and safer community. All of us, working together, is what makes the Raytown School District exceptional.
