Substitute at RQS
Are you looking for a flexible schedule, a variety of job assignments and experience? Maybe you're looking to get some experience before applying for a full time position. Whatever your case is, becoming a substitute at RQS offers you that flexibility in schedule and experience. Substitutes are needed for various positions throughout the school year. The opportunities available can vary in locations and duration. From daily, weekly and even long-term opportunities, you're sure to find something that fits your needs.

Application Process
To become a substitute, you will need to complete the online application. We have certified and classified substituting assignments available. Certified substitutes are for Substitute Teaching, and Classified substitutes are for a variety of non-teaching roles.
Once you apply, you will be invited to come into our office to meet one of our HR Coordinators. At this meeting, you'll pre-register online for the fingerprinting process. Fingerprinting is through the State Highway Patrol's Missouri Automated Criminal History Site (MACHS). The Raytown Quality School District will cover the cost of your background checks. Once we receive your cleared fingerprint results, we will contact you to set up your New Hire Orientation.
