Celebrating Black History Month

February marks the start of Black History Month!

Black History Month is a month-long observance in February that aims to recognize and celebrate the many Black women and men who have made significant contributions to America and the rest of the world in the fields of science, politics, law, sports, the arts, entertainment, and many more. Black History Month is also a time to spread awareness and learn more, while continuing to support the Black community's histories, traditions, and culture. The national theme for 2023 is “Black Resistance.”
