All elementary schools in the Raytown School District participate in the Federal Title I program on a
school wide basis. The purpose of Title I is to provide all children the opportunity to receive a fair, equitable, and high-quality education and to close educational achievement gaps. Funds are allocated from the federal government to the state and then to the district and school. The amount of money a district/school receives depends on the number and percent of students who qualify for free and reduced lunch and decisions the district makes. As part of the Title I program, schools are required to notify parents about the information below. Feel free to contact your classroom teacher or principal if you have questions about your child’s academic progress.
