The show will run Nov.4-6 at 7 p.m. in the Raytown South High School Gymnasium.
Those selected will participate in the All-District Choir Clinic and performance on Tuesday, Oct. 26 at William Jewell College.
The Board of Education is interested in gathering information from all RQS stakeholders regarding the strengths, challenges, goals, and personal attributes that will help determine the candidate who will be the best fit for the District through a Superintendent Search Survey.
The program highlights students and teachers who make the Kansas City community a better place to live, work and play. Nieznajko was selected for her dedication to the Eastwood Hills Elementary community and the students and families it serves.
Missouri Course Access and Virtual School Program (MOCAP)
Policy IGCD: Eligible students may enroll in virtual courses offered through the Missouri Course Access Program (MOCAP). The district will accept all grades and credits earned through district-sponsored virtual instruction and MOCAP. The district will pay the costs of a virtual course only if the district has first approved the student's enrollment in the course as described in policy IGCD. Enrollment period: Enrollment requests will be considered within the first fifteen days of the semester.

No School/Parent-Teacher Conferences
Friday, Oct. 22 will be a professional development day for staff and will also be a non-attendance day for students. Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place Oct. 25-28. Thursday, Oct. 28 is a non-attendance day for students. The District (schools and business offices) will be closed Friday, Oct. 29. If you have any questions, please contact your child’s school.
Raytown School District Food Service Department Public Notice 2021-2022
Each year, the Raytown School District's Food Service Department releases a public notice about Free and Reduced Lunch policies and procedures. You can view the 2021-2022 notice here. Filling out the application is important for all families (virtual or in-person) as you may be able to have your activities, athletics, music and communication arts, ACT and other fees reduced because if you student(s) qualify for Free/Reduced Lunch rates. If you have any questions about the application process or the program, please contact the Food Service office at (816) 268-7076, from 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday.
Parents as Teachers (PAT) Offers Developmental Screenings
The Raytown School District's Parents As Teachers (PAT) program offers free developmental screenings to children ages three to five years old.
These screenings are a quick and easy way to give parents/guardians valuable information about how their child is developing in motor, language, social & cognitive areas. Hearing & vision screenings are also included in this free service.
Screenings for children 36 months through kindergarten age take place at New Trails Early Learning Center throughout the school year.
Parents/guardians receive a personal conference and written summary of the screening results. During the conference, suggestions will be given for activities to enhance the child's learning.

Baby Jays Learning Center
The Baby Jays Quality Learning Center hosted by Raytown High School Advanced Child Development program is enrolling children ages 3-5 for classes starting late February 2022. Success By 6 (SB6)
The Raytown School District’s Success By Six program has a toy-lending program for children from age birth to kindergarten. The program allows families to check out toys at no cost to them. Check out more information in the flyer on how you can check out toys from Success By Six for curbside pickup.
