Academies of Raytown

Raytown Quality Schools is committed to transforming the high school experience to ensure every student is academically sound, reflective, able to relate, contributes to their community, and has the professional skills and real world experiences to succeed on a high demand/high wage career.

Raytown Quality Schools is partnering with Ford Next Generation Learning, a national education nonprofit, to transform and reimagine the RQS student experience. The goal is to provide each student with the keys to success for college and their careers through academics and real world experiences. Before launching the Academies of Raytown, leaders from RQS met with students, district staff, business, and community partners who provided guidance, oversight, and input on the master plan goals and initiatives.

Each high school has an executive principal who oversees all the academies and an academy coach who works with all the academies. Additionally, each academy will have its own team, including: an academy principal, an academy counselor, an academy interventionist, and a dedicated team of teachers and staff.
