2025 Location - South High
Raytown High School and South High School students will attend South High School from 7:15am - 2:20pm.
- Students should enroll in the grade level they will be entering in the Fall of 2025. For example, a current 8th-grade student will enroll in Summer School 9th Grade.
- Please note that students enrolling in High School Summer School Courses must have consistent attendance. If they are absent more than two times, they will be dropped from their course(s).
Questions about Summer School?

- If you need further assistance, email summerschool@raytownschools.org
Food Service
Breakfast and lunch will be free for students attending Summer School. Lunch and breakfast will continue to be served in accordance with current USDA nutritional guidelines. Students will still have the opportunity to purchase a la carte items. A la carte pricing can be found in each café and can be located on the Raytown Food Service web page. Charges will not be allowed during Summer School for a la carte purchases. Click here to view school menus.
Transportation & Schedules
Routes for summer school will be available by logging into the transportation infofinder on the district web page after May 29, 2025. No additional routing will be done after the enrollment deadline.
- Bus transportation will only be provided for AM & PM routes. This means, if your high school student only has AM classes and takes the bus to school, they will have to be a car rider for the mid-day pick up. There is not mid-day bus service. The same would apply to a student that only has a PM course. They would need transportation to get to school in the PM, but could then be a bus rider for the end of the day.
- Bus transportation is only available for students who live outside the parent responsibility zone.
- Student schedules and transportation information will go out the last week of school.
