    If you homeschool your child and he or she has a disability, or you suspect a disability, an informational meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 9 - 10 a.m. at the RSECC building (107 E. 350 Highway). The purpose of the meeting is to inform you about special education services within Raytown Quality Schools for children who are homeschooled.

  • Parents as Teachers (PAT) Offers Developmental Screenings

    The Raytown School District's Parents As Teachers (PAT) program offers free developmental screenings to children ages three to five years old. For the 2022-23 school year, the program has scheduled the following dates for screening opportunities: August 8, 9, 12, 18 and 19. 

    These screenings are a quick and easy way to give parents/guardians valuable information about how their child is developing in motor, language, social & cognitive areas. Hearing & vision screenings are also included in this free service. Please call 816.268.7202 to schedule your appointment.

  • Preschool and Kindergarten Enrollment 

    In order to further streamline the residency and enrollment process, preschool and kindergarten families will now enroll for the 2022-2023 school year during the district’s open-enrollment period, which begins in mid-July. Students entering kindergarten in the Fall of 2022 are eligible to attend Summer School in the summer of 2022. Summer School enrollment is going on now through May 6.

  • Raytown School District Food Service Department Public Notice 2022-23

    Each year, the Raytown School District's Food Service Department releases a public notice about Free and Reduced Lunch policies and procedures. You can view the 2022-23 public notice here. Filling out the application is important for all families (virtual or in-person) as you may be able to have your activities, athletics, music and communication arts, ACT and other fees reduced if your student(s) qualify for Free/ Reduced Lunch rates. If you have any questions about the application process or the program, please contact the Food Service office at 816.268.7076, from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
