Raytown School District Announces the Hiring of Administrators for the 2022-23 School Year

The Raytown School District is pleased to announce the hiring of administrators for the 2022-23 School Year. 

Toni Davis will serve as the Principal at Raytown South Middle School. Davis currently serves as the principal at Raytown Central Middle School. Before Raytown Central Middle School Davis was an Assistant Principal at Raytown South Middle School. She is currently working on her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Baker University. Previously, Davis served as a summer school elementary principal at Westridge Elementary and an administrator intern at Raytown Middle School. Prior to her work as an administrator, Davis was an English Language Arts teacher at Raytown Middle School and taught in the Hickman Mills School District.

Terry Gibson will serve as the Chief Executive Officer of Finance and Operations. He comes to RQS from the Jackson R-2 School District in Jackson, MO where he served as the Chief Financial Officer for the past five years. Before working in school finance, Gibson was a staff accountant at Baer & Co., LLC, controller for Kauffman Scholars, Inc. and an accountant at CT Systems, Inc. and Tutera Group, LLC. Gibson is a Certified Public Accountant. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Baker University and a Master of Business Administration – Finance from the University of Missouri - Kansas City. He is an alumnus (88’) of Raytown South High School. 

Melissa Glasco will serve as the Principal at Fleetridge Elementary. Glasco currently serves as the Administrator Intern at Fleetridge Elementary. Previously, she served as the Administrative Intern at Southwood Elementary and as a first grade teacher for the Independence School District. She received her Bachelor of Science in Education from Park University, her Master of Arts in Teaching from Webster University, and her Education Specialist in School Administration from the University of Central Missouri. 

Dr. Chris Greiner will serve as the Chief Executive Officer of Academics. He moves to RQS from the Lincoln County R-III School District where he is the Assistant Superintendent of Academics. Dr. Greiner has been in education for nearly 25 serving as adjunct professor at Missouri Baptist and director of student learning in the Francis Howell School District. Some of his previous roles include principal, assistant principal, social studies teacher and coach. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in History/Secondary Education from Washington University, a Master of Education in Secondary Administration from the University of Missouri - St. Louis, an Ed. Specialist in Educational Leadership from Lindenwood University and a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from St. Louis University. 

Claire Quinn will serve as the Principal at Southwood Elementary. She is currently the Administrator  Intern at Southwood Elementary. Prior to that she was a teacher in RQS. Quinn has also served as a teacher in the Hickman Mills School District and a volleyball coach in Springfield Public Schools. Quinn earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Missouri State University and a Master of Science in Educational Administration and Leadership from Missouri State University.  

Duties for the new positions for Davis, Gibson, Glasco, Greiner, and Quinn will begin on July 1, 2021.
