Virtual Attend to Win drawings for a new car at both high schools, new bikes at middle schools scheduled for May 8, 2020
The Raytown School District will hold a combined virtual high school and middle school Attend to Win attendance incentive drawings on May 8.
The attendance incentive drawings will determine the winner of a car at both Raytown High School and Raytown South High School and the winner of a new bike to be given away to one sixth grader, one seventh grader, and one eighth grader at each of the District’s three middle schools, Raytown Middle School, Raytown Central Middle School, and Raytown South Middle School.
Superintendent Dr. Allan Markley will announce the winners during a YouTube and Facebook live announcement at 11 a.m. on May 8. You can tune in to the District’s YouTube channel at https://bit.ly/3fivZXX or the District’s Facebook page at https://bit.ly/2zd8RJO.
Raytown High School students have the opportunity to win a white 2019 Nissan Versa and Raytown South High School students have the opportunity to win a red 2019 Chevrolet Spark. The high school Attend to Win attendance incentive drawing for the cars was made possible thanks to a partnership between the Raytown School District and Airport Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM owner Jeff Bethel.
Students who achieved an average attendance rate of 95 percent or higher were entered into the drawing. Students had the opportunity to earn up to six entries from September 1, 2019 through March 13, 2020.
Everyone is encouraged to tune into the live event. Winners will be contacted after the event to receive instructions on obtaining their prize.
Throughout the year, additional attendance incentives for all grades have been put in place to encourage students to achieve excellent attendance.
