BOE Votes to Make Masks Recommended Effective Feb. 18, 2022
The Raytown C-2 School District Board of Education voted to make masks optional but recommended and end the mask requirement district wide effective Feb. 18, 2022.
What this means for the Raytown School District…
Masking is now encouraged but optional for all students and staff beginning on Feb. 18, 2022. Masks are still federally mandated to be worn on public transportation; therefore, we will continue to require masks on all district transportation including school buses.
Additionally, due to requirements from the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) masking may be required in some instances. Should your child contract COVID-19 please pay close attention to instructions provided to you.
