Raytown School District Announces the Hiring of Marissa Cleaver Wamble as Chief Communications Officer

The Raytown School District is pleased to announce the hiring of Marissa Cleaver Wamble as Chief Communications Officer.

Wamble brings more than 20 years of experience in communications and public relations to the Raytown School District. She currently serves as the Director of Public Information and Partnerships in the Hickman Mills C-1 School District.

Before coming to the Hickman Mills C-1 School District in 2018, Wamble previously served as Director of Corporate Communication for Port KC, Public Information Specialist for the Independence School District, and as a broadcast journalist in Tallahassee, Florida; Fort Myers, Florida; Lincoln, Nebraska; and Kansas City, Missouri.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications and French from Oklahoma City University and a Master of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University.

She will begin her duties as Chief Communications Officer on May 31, 2022.
