Raytown School District Technology Department Earns National Award
The Raytown School District Technology Department Repair Team recently received the Lenovo Outstanding Service Award for Warranty and Self-Maintenance for the third year in a row. This award is presented to the top 10 percent of in house repair shops in the United States for the accuracy of repairs and the timeliness of repair completion.
“I am so proud of my team for always looking for more efficient ways to provide support to our staff and students,” said Director of Instructional Technology Melissa Tebbenkamp. “Streamlining our repair process is just one example of how much they are dedicated to empowering our staff and students.”
The technology repair team supports more than 10,000 devices around the District. During the 2018-2019 school year, the department repaired 1,900 parts.
