Natalie Johnson-Berry

Natalie Johnson-BerryDirector Natalie Johnson-Berry was appointed by the Board in July 2021 to fulfill the remainder of a vacant term which will end in April 2022. She and her husband Christopher have three children: Asha, Madisen, and Kya. Asha and Madisen are graduates of Raytown High School, where Kya currently attends. Natalie holds a Bachelor of Arts in English, a Master’s in Teaching Secondary Education, an Educational Specialist degree in Leadership, and is pursuing a doctorate in Educational Leadership. Natalie has been a teacher for over twenty years, is Nationally Board Certified and has presented for the National Council of Teachers of English, as well as being appointed to their Committee Against Racism and Bias in the Teaching of English. Her passion for the well-being and success of all children has led her to become an equity trainer, building teacher of the year, district teacher of the year, Kansas Teacher of the year nominee, and a Kansas Teacher of the year regional finalist.
