Summer School Enrollment

Summer School Enrollment

Due to social distancing restrictions related to COVID-19, the District will no longer offer in-person classes in July for secondary students in grades 6-12. Secondary students will have the option to participate in virtual coursework via Launch, a purpose-driven virtual course access program designed to serve Missouri students. Launch is based in Springfield Public Schools and partners with school districts statewide to offer students access to Launch virtual courses. Secondary virtual summer school will be held July 6-31, and online enrollment for this session closes on Friday, May 29.

The District will offer a modified in-person elementary session in July. A limited number of seats are available, and students will be placed according to qualifications and availability. The July session for elementary school will run July 6-31, and online enrollment for the elementary session closes Friday, May 29th.

The June session for high school only virtual summer school will run June 3-30, and online enrollment for that session closes Friday, May 22.

The past two and half months have  been an incredibly challenging time for the entire community. Thank you for your patience, understanding and flexibility as we have dealt with this unprecedented situation.
